Tommaso Bosco
Winery in Castagnole Monferrato
Like an architect, Tommaso Bosco knows the territory, his vocation and designs geometries.
Owner of the homonymous farm, Tommaso Bosco, in 2015, reorganized the historic family property, giving shape to a 100% sustainable wine project.
In the heart of Castagnole Monferrato, the absolute homeland of Ruchè together with six other municipalities in the province of Asti, the vineyard is the protagonist of Tommaso Bosco farm.
The rows, in fact, give shape to a real amphitheater where the grapes are staged. Season after season, the curtain rises and new colors accompany the guided tastings.
The Tommaso Bosco farm, in fact, has chosen to have its wines appreciated on the stage among the vineyards. There are no walls, the borders are drawn by the soft lines of the hills; there are no ceilings but only the sky painted in different shades of blue.
In fact, Tommaso Bosco believes in a holistic experience, where the vineyard is the only space where you can get to know wine in depth.
To make the experience even more immersive, Tommaso Bosco has envisioned an area designated for picnicking, which can be accessed by reservation after making a phone call.
Ruchè from Castagnole Monferrato, Barbera d’Asti, Grignolino and Monferrato bianco. Four wines that respect the tradition of the territory and of which Tommaso Bosco has chosen to take care. But not only. To complete the company also Riesling and Slarina, an aromatic grape that was very widespread in the past and today recovered in Monferrato also thanks to Tommaso Bosco’s personal attention to history.
The company landscape is completed by the cultivation of the Tonda and Gentile IGP hazelnuts, the perfect match for every glass of Ruchè.
